Clinical Psychology -It is dedicated to the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental problems and disorders and addresses a variety of psychological, emotional and behavioral issues, making use of techniques and therapeutic approaches to learn to deal with problems such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addictions, relationship problems, traumas, stress, among others. The goal is to help people understand and overcome the psychological challenges they face, providing them with tools, and facilitating self-understanding and the adoption of new attitudes, feelings and thoughts, thus promoting mental health and general well-being.
Couple Therapy -The daily demands imprint external and internal changes in the individual, which inevitably mirror the couple, making the dynamics of the complex family nucleus, threatening its structure. With or without children, the coexistence between two people goes through several changes and/or routines. Not being a simple process, many spouses end up facing multiple adversities in communication.
In addition to communicational deficiencies; lack of affection and emotional distance; episodes of extramarital cases; unrealistic expectations in relation to the other or the relationship; sleeping of sexual life are some of the problems reported by couples who resort to Couple Therapy.
Sexology- Works essential issues in the area of human sexuality, sexual health and sexual education: Sexual Disfunctions, Conjugal Counseling, Paraphilias and Sexual Dependency, Sexual Orientation, Non-Heterosexual Identity Development, Gender and Conjugal Identity Disorder, Senior Sexuality, Counseling in Chronic Diseases or Physical Disability, Sexual Feminine and Male Dysfunctions, Family Planning, Infertility, Pregnancy Sex, among others.
Divorce Therapy -The purpose is to achieve a serene separation. We know that some people are trapped in a communicational cycle of mutual aggression, unable to free themselves from hurt, anger and attribution of guilt. They maintain latent or manifest conflicts, reaching triangulate the children or family members/friends, who are involved and driven to mediate the former couple. Legal, logistical and emotional issues can be very heavy.
The intervention at the level of Divorce Therapy provides support and strategies to minimize the impact of separation on the couple, children and family and friends.
Forensic Psychology- Generally associated with criminal prosecutions, focusing on their criminal activity. However, it is also an added value in the areas of: Family law (determine parental competences in the divorce process; guide the visitation regime; monitor child protection processes, etc.); Civil law (validating legal incapacity for free disposal of property, etc.); criminal law (measure criminal imputation; effects of violence on the victim, etc.); Labor law (job incapacitation; harassment situations at work, etc.); Children (credibility of testimony; dysfunctionalities that may affect the child due to separation; Educational Guardian Processes, etc.).
